I’m so excited for christmas, just this morning i was able to put up more decorations on my christmas tree, make pompoms for a vintage wall decoration, and get outside ornaments for well…the outside! I might have to post pictures of my decorations soon

The shoes i’m wearing are from SLink, they’re one of the many mesh based shoes available right now and they’re so lovely!

I could spend all day mixing and matching colors with all the beautiful colors but instead, here are my faves!

With these shoes comes a bunch of huds too, i’m not too sure if anyone else loves hdus as much as i do but they make it so much easier to get skin color, toe colors, and basically anything in general. Even size.

One:  The first hud basically allows you to change everything but the color of the actual shoe, Skin tone, size, nail polish, etc.

Two: This is the hud that allows you to change the color of the actual shoe, i’m not too sure how it works with just one colored shoes. I’m assuming you’d get all the bow options but none of the shoe options!

Three: I haven’t really messed around with this one because i love the nail colors that Sid already has made but this one allows you to change and tint toe nail colors according to what you favor and what hue you like.

And Finally

Four: This allows people, like myself, to be severely ocd and size the feet to be almost perfect to your personal avi. I love that i can fit it with minimal effort but at the same time have this at the ready if it doens’t fit perfectly!

I decided to do something simple and small this week, there will still be a bunch of pictures BUT it’s not a big sim! It’s called “HuMaNoiD” and i have to say, i love it.

The sim keeps one main theme, nature. There’s many different artistic designs and themes jumbled into one theme.

There’s so many things to hear, if you put your sound all the way up and explore this sim..you’ll notice in every island theres always something being played or something making noise.

The sim has a very calming, almost zen like, feeling to it. It’s easy to get attached to this place and never want to leave.

No matter what, i also seemed to find some type of insect or bird around the area. My favorite by far would have to be the owl though (2nd picture of post), i have a major thing for owls to the point i will be getting an owl tattoo soon, for a totally different reason though.

And that my friends, is humanoid. A sim filled with lovely noises, superb craft, and wonderful adventure.

So for about a month or so or until i decide to put my prices back, everything will be at lower prices.

My second place is ROCHE

A friend of mine, Pixel Tyran, has a severe obsession with sitting on bridges and demands only the best of quality. One day while trying to find the perfect bridge, she came across this time and it’s vast amount of bridges! Oh, heavenly glorious day was it! Now, it’s one of her favorite places to bridge sit!

When i first came upon this sim, thanks to pixel, she told me that you could “rent” (By rent i mean click a board and sit on the bike.) a bike and cruise around the sim on it. How Marvelous!

I think the whole bike thing fits in with how rural and quiet the mood is. It’s reminds me of a very small town or a city in the middle of no where.

With hot dog stands, work spaces, and bakery’s, it’s hard not to think that you wouldn’t have bus stops!

The sim is based around a large lake, so it’d only be practical that the animals and homes around the lake would in fact be very…shore based instead of inland!

I named the above sheep “The lonely sheep that was!”, but with sheep there’s also donkeys, ducks, chickens, cats, fish, and even a crow!

The actual furnishing of the homes are very country, and rural living. It includes a cafe and, i would assume a farmers home.

All in all, this sim is very calming and i wouldn’t mind being on this sim most every other day. There’s a lot of hidden things which i purposely did not picture because well, whats the fun of that? The sounds of the animals mixed with the added sounds of water is just lovely, it’s a very quiet sim and i’d like to see a lot more other sims like this on the grid!

I will be exploring sims and blogging them. I was talking to a friend last night who brought up her idea, which she posted to flickr only minutes before, of exploring sims again. When we were new to SL, it was still a nice place to be in and inhabited a lot of great people as well as sims.

My first place on the list this week is

B&B Spiritual Supplies ~ a Botanica

The sim is very unique in the sense that, if you have sound and ambient on, it carries a lot of distinct noises you’d only find in a swamp. I think my favorite part about it was how real the sounds blended with the surroundings. From crackling fire, to the calls of bats and splash of interrupted water.

With it’s vast amount of hoodoo / voodou markings and it’s various landscaping essentials for the perfect making of a hoodoo queens home. It’s so contagious i started dancing with trees and invisible people.

I only found out about this place last night thanks to Aranel Ah, but i’m 100% sure that there’s live music here sometimes! What a great sim to listen to music on!

With it’s vast amount of nature for pictures and shots for blogs, there’s also a main store there. It holds many oddities and arts (As the sign says!)

What’s cooler is that in many subscribo messages the designer mentions that the things she makes and puts out for sale actually come from real life knicks and knacks she finds!

My two favorite parts about this is the funny wooden blocks with quotes and posters on them and the many swamp animals you can find there. There’s a pot belly pig by the entrance which is just…uh..lovely? Haha.
